Owners description:

Godiva is a Guide Dog puppy currently being puppy walked by us. She was born in our house to our Guide Dog brood and she will eventually enter Guide Dog training school to be trained to guide people with vision impairment. This is an extremely important and worthwhile job for a dog and I hope that Godiva or Iva as we call her, will be successful. She is a happy confident puppy with a gentle and calm disposition. She is a pleasure to walk on the lead and enjoys her puppy walking training visiting shops and cafes where she behaves very well, calmly walking around or lying down at my side. We shall miss her very much when she leaves us and will follow her progress with interest. Hopefully she will qualify as a working Guide Dog, but if she doesn’t - well, she can come home to us! There will always be a place here for our Iva.

Reason for joining: We registered Iva with Dogslife with Guide Dogs' permission as I find any research into the health and well being of our beloved Labradors a very worthwhile cause.
